HC: 41.6 cm (25%)Things have gotten better with little Claire. Thanks to my sister Jaclyn and Dr Weissbluth (author of Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child) we actually do have a happier child. It was a long and hard road that took a lot of work, but I think we're getting there. The other night when I put her down awake, she only cried for five minutes. Dave could not believe it. He asked me if that was the same child.
She has bedtime down. Claire typically sleeps 10-11 hours without waking up. We're still working on nap time. She'll do it, it's just not her favorite thing.

-nursing (still no bottle)
-sippy cup, although she doesn't really know how to use it yet
-reading books
-going for walks in her baby carrier (it's starting to break my back)
-sucking on her feet
-grooming: bathtime, hair brushing, having her ears cleaned
-flipping over on her tummy every time I try to change her diaper
-signing "milk" for the past few weeks
Dislikes
-afternoon naps
-any food that's not oatmeal or avocado
-having her face and nose wiped off
-carseat
-sleeping on her back
-getting her pajamas on

um , can we get some of that 10-12 hours over her! seriously, owen is the lightest, shortest sleeper on the planet! so glad she's tarting to go to bed a happy baby for you guys. i'm sure it feels so nice not having to fight the battle every night. she is stinkin cute! my favs are her in the little white dress and the pink ruffled bottom. adorable. she really is a mix of the two of you isn't she. so fun to see new pics of her! :)
I'm happy to hear she's sleeping at night!! Naps will fall into place next. I can't take any credit -- you're a super momma! I love the photo of Claire's bum with the ruffles. Too cute.
